The Woman Behind the Wardrobe
Danielle Marie
Danielle Marie Holman
Wardrobe Stylist & Creative Director
Style is a language.
Danielle helps you speak it fluently.
Danielle Marie has been obsessed with clothes since before she had the vocabulary to explain why. Growing up surrounded by fashion — the editorial spreads, the department store rituals, the way a perfectly chosen outfit could transform how someone carried themselves — she understood intuitively that style wasn't vanity. It was communication.
That instinct sharpened through years in high-end retail, where she developed a trained eye for proportion, fabric, and the subtle mechanics of why certain pieces work and others don't. She learned how to read bodies, understand color theory in practice, and — most importantly — how to translate what someone wanted to project into an actual, wearable wardrobe.
The launch of Staples & Statements formalized what had always been her natural gift: helping people discover and inhabit their authentic style identity. Not a trend. Not a borrowed aesthetic. Theirs.
Today, Danielle works with clients across San Diego and virtually nationwide — from first-time styling clients finding their footing to executives and entrepreneurs who understand that how they show up matters.
The Approach
The Archetype Framework
Danielle's signature approach to styling is organized around the 7 Feminine Archetypes — a framework for understanding personal style identity that goes deeper than trends or body types.
Your archetype is the underlying aesthetic DNA of your personal style. It reflects how you want to feel, how you want to be perceived, and what kind of visual story your wardrobe tells. When you dress in alignment with your archetype, getting dressed becomes effortless rather than exhausting.
When Danielle shared this framework publicly, tens of thousands of women recognized themselves in it immediately — because it resonates with something real, not a trend.
The Principles
What Danielle Believes
01
Style is personal, never prescriptive.
There is no universally 'correct' way to dress. Danielle's job is to help you find YOUR style — not impose someone else's aesthetic onto your life.
02
Every body is a good body for great style.
The work is about dressing your actual self with knowledge, intention, and confidence — not dressing for a hypothetical future body or an impossible standard.
03
A great wardrobe is a tool, not a luxury.
How you show up affects your confidence, your credibility, and the opportunities available to you. The investment in your wardrobe is an investment in yourself.
